Intervention delivery ontologies

The delivery of a behaviour change intervention can include the following components: mode, source, schedule, and style.

The Mode of Delivery Ontology specifies the medium or channels that are used to deliver the content of a behaviour change intervention. For example, printed materials.

The Intervention Source Ontology specifies who delivers the behaviour change intervention. For example, a health professional.

The Schedule of Delivery Ontology specifies the timing and patterning of delivery of activities that make up the content of the behaviour change intervention. For example, the duration of the intervention. The Schedule of Delivery Ontology is currently under development.

The Style of Delivery Ontology specifies the manner in which the content of a behaviour change intervention is delivered. For example, cold and distant versus warm and accepting communication style.
