The application of ontologies to behavioural science is very recent and the BCIO is the most advanced and highly developed example to date. This module explains how ontologies can support behavioural scientists and practitioners in their work, bearing in mind that behavioural science often deals in complex and highly nuanced constructs, many of which cannot be directly observed.
